It's quite simple to do what you want using Flash Renamer
: Use the format function and set the format string to for example " My Photo Session.". This shoud give you filenames like "2006-07-26 01-02-03 My Photo Session.jpg".
You can also try using the "enum" function to add sequential numbering to the filenames (001,002,003,...). You can use the in both the format function and the enum function together if you want.
I hope this will help you! Let me know if you need more help. Also check out the manual. I have written many useful tips in there. (look for the red boxes)
PS: I would be very happy if you told your friend about my program!

Subject: Flash Renamer Question
I downloaded your software, but before I register it I have a questions.
I am a photographer and use multiple cameras to cover a single event.
If all of the cameras are synched for day and time (or really close), is there a way to combine all of the files into one directory, then use Flash Renamer to sort the images by time they were shot, and then rename them according to what time they were shot? This way all of the images will be in shot order, not file name order.
If this does the trick, I can pass your info on to hundreds of photographers that need a similar service.
Thanks a bunch, Eric Miller 504-270-7822
