Thank you very much Dan for your quick reply. The message that I actually got is the following:
Install “Smart Sound Quicktracks Plugin”
Does what you say below still apply in this case?

Hi,
There is a bug in Windows Installer that causes this on some computers. You can find more info here:
http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/article08-103
You can try to update windows installer:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=889482fc-5f56-4a38-b838-de776fd4138c&DisplayLang=en
Blame Microsoft for this. I'm not even using Windows Installer for my programs...

Subject: Question
Dear Sir/Madam:
Every time that I run Flash Renamer in my laptop (with Windows XP and FR version 5.0) instead of opening Flash Renamer, the system will try to install some sort of software. I have to press cancel (the installation process that has just started) several times until I finally get Flash Renamer to run. Is this a bug of Flash Renamer? Thanks,
Carlos Janada
