The registration dialog will not show the first day you run the program. This is so that it does not annoy people who want to try the program. This is probably what happened to you.

I will add it into the about dialog too. Good suggestion!

This sounds very strange. Do you think your could send me some screenshots showing the problem? That would make it easier for me to understand exactly what is going on. Also please make a screenshot of the setting window's "general" tab.
