The manifest file is necessary for enabling "XP Theming". As you can see, the program does not look "modern" any more. Unfortunately I have had some problems with this. It works on most computers, but still seems to cause a few problems. I am working to solve this whenever I am made aware of it. But right now I do not know where to go with your problem. I wish I had access to your computer. That would make it sooo much easier to debug..
