Subject: Re: RES: Please, could you explain about Flash Renamer?

Date: Sun, 05 Sep 2010 21:14:21 +0200

If a program is playing a song, then it usually locks the file so that no other program can modify it. This includes renaming the file. If you try to rename it, Flash Renamer should display an error message.

It is possible that the file is not locked. In this case, it will be renamed and the next time Windows Media Player tries to read from the file it will not find it, and should stop playing the song. (In this case, the file might disappear from WMP but it should still be on the hard drive with the new name.)

Are you sure the file is gone from the hard drive? I have been using computer for a long time, and this does not make sense to me.

I want to help you, so anything else you can tell me about it would be useful to hear.
