The story

Ten years ago, I was getting tired of renaming all my mp3s by hand. I searched for a program to do it for me, but could not find one, so I decided to make something quick myself. I simply called it Batch Renamer. I needed an icon for it too, and found a "cool looking" lightning bolt. And thus Flash Renamer was born! Never would I have imagined that the program would grow into a fully featured application and that I would still be working on the same program, ten years later. Sometimes I wonder how many million files have been renamed by my program; how many thousands of man labour hours it has saved. I'm proud of my creation. Now I'm preparing for another ten years :-) Let me end by giving a big thank you to all who have supported me and Flash Renamer over the years.
