Subject: Can I change the position of what I rename?

Date: Sun, 27 Nov 2005 17:12:41 +0100

Hi,

There is no direct way to do this, but you should be able to figure out a
way to do it anyway. The easies it probably to do it in two steps, for
example using the find/reaplce function and then the add function. You can
also try to use the format function, together with the "parts" input box.
This can be pretty powerful if you get it working right. The manual will
tell you how to use the format function!

Is it possible for Flash Renamer to find a text string at a specific or any
position in the filename, and replace it with a text string in a specific
*different* position?

For example, I want to move the word bunny from position 10 in the filename
to position 2. Or I want to find bunny anywhere in the filename and replace
it with rabbit at the beginning?
