Hi,

Currently there is no exif date column, but do like this to do it anyway: Use the format function and enter . Now the preview will have the exif date. Click on the preview column header to sort the files according to this date. Now that the files are sorted, you can use the enum function like you want!

About the problem: First of all, I just want to make sure that youy are using the and tags, not the standard and tags, which return the dates of the files instead of the date inside the exif tag.

I don't know what could be causing this problem, but you are welcome to send me a picture that has this problem, and I will take a look at it!

I just registered and paid for a copy of Flash Renamer 4.81

I am attempting to add a sequential number or an EXIF date to the front of filenames for a bunch of .jpg images taken with a digital camera - so I can use the images in a slide show program, etc.

Question: How can I get Flash Renamer to display the files according to their EXIF date/times? Only column titles are "name, preview, path" I am accustomed to other programs which will show EXIF date and times and allow sorting on those. If I can get the files in order of their EXIF date/times I can use FR to prefix a sequential number.

Problem: As a work-around I decided to prefix each original image title with the EXIF date and time. About 20% of the dates and times were in error. Appended to this e-mail is a file name list. There are two columns of date/times. The first column was produced by Flash Renamer and the second column was produced by EXIFER. The EXIFER date/times are correct. About 80% of the FR date/times are in error. Any ideas?
