Subject: **** question about file creation dates

Date: Wed, 4 Jan 2006 21:39:51 +0100

Hi,

According to the dir command in Windows 2000, which I am using, there is a
switch called /t that you can use to control the sorting order. I don't know
if this is available in Win98. But I really don't know much about this since
I never use it.

I know you didn't want me to say this, but I really suggest that you install
my Flash Renamer program. You don't have to register, it will work anyway
(although I wouldn't mind it:-) In Flash Renamer you can use the format
function and simply append the created date to each file or folder. I think
this is what you are looking for.

I share your feeling about installing new programs. Flash Renamer should be
safe to install. If you unstall it will however leave some things in the
registry (this is to make it easier for people who are upgrading). The
registry key used is: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program
Settings\RL Vision\Flash Renamer
