Subject: RE: FlashRenamer Questions
I do have another question: Is there a way to rename a file to a directory other than its immediate parent? (i.e. ..\..\file.mp3 – kind of like the parent of the parent of the parent....)
Thanks,
Anthony

Hi,
At the moment Flash Renamer can not move files. I am planning to att this to future versions.
About the command line, I recommend that you upgrade to the latest 5.x version. The commandline is much more powerful there! If you still have problems with tyhat version, you are welcome to ask!

Sorry if this a duplicate e-mail, but I just saw this e-mail address on your website.
1) How do I use the Format function and have the result go to a different drive? I am trying to move (rename) files from c: to g:
2) I cannot seem to get the command line function to work. This is what I am using: “FlashRen.exe /p g:\test\ /e modeFormat /x”. The DOS screen flashes by, but nothing happens.
I am currently using an unregistered version.
Thanks,
Anthony
