Subject: Re: Question on Flash Renamer
Date: Tue, 23 Jan 2007 19:57:41 +0100Hi,
There are many ways to do this. Try this, using the "Format" function:
Pattern: <%1><%2>_PAG
Parts: <%1>_PAG<%2>
You could also simply use the "replace" function to replace "_PAG" with "" (=nothing) and then insert it again at the end using the "Add" function.
Then there is the number. You can use the "number normalize" function to maintain 5 digits. But the problem is that this will also affect the other numbers in the filename. A possible solution would be to first insert a pediod "." before the last numbers, and then enable "process extension" but not "process filename" and now use the "number normalize" function. Then remove the pediod again.
You can create a prese to do all these steps for you automatically.
I hope this helps.

Subject: Question on Flash Renamer
Hi,
The company I work for just purchase Flash Renamer 5.11 from you.
If you look at the attached PDF file of the screen capture will show you our naming method of files.
Take a look at this for a better explanation of what I need the program to do.
When we create the files it places a number at the end of the file. What we need to do is take the number off the end of the file (i.e.. 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.) and place it at the end of the 4 0's (00001, 00002, 00003, 00004 etc.) that is before the _PAG.eps
I figured out how to get the number off the end, but I need to move it the the end of the 0's. The page numbering that wee need must remain at 5 characters. (i.e.. 00001, 00010, 00100, 01000 etc. )
Can you tell me how I can do that with your program?
Thank you,
Chris
