Subject: Re: Flash Renamer icon on context menu
Date: Mon, 25 Jun 2007 19:23:29 +0200Hi,
To be honest, I have no idea of what could be causing this. Shell Extensions are pretty complicated, and I'm happy just getting it to work :-)
Font smoothing is not something I take care. This lies in the system. So it's really strange that it's not working.
I will take a look at it, but I'm not sure I will be able to fix it.

Subject: Flash Renamer icon on context menu
Hi Dan,
I see you’ve added a Flash Renamer icon onto the context menu in the new beta version I am running.
I use a Windows Explorer replacement application by the name of Directory Opus (http://www.gpsoft.com.au/). If you haven’t seen and if you’re in the market for an Explorer replacement I can highly recommend this one. They recently released version 9 but I am still on version 8 (so nothing has changed in that regard).
On Windows Explorer the icon and text displays normal with the exception that the text seems to be offset a little bit more from the left margin than other context menu items.
On my Directory Opus the Flash Renamer text is displayed without font smoothing. However, other context menu applications such as WinZip display properly.
I am attaching some screenshots in a zip file to show what I am getting.
Regards,
Theo
