Sorry, I do not understand.
I want to move some files up and insert them in a new location, and for the numbers to be adjusted automatically.
Also, I do not seem to be able to make more columns.

You can click on the column header. (in the settings you can enable more columns)
My best trick is this: use some rename function to generate a bunch of new filenames in the preview column. Now click on the preview column header, and you will sort according to your previews!

What is the easiest way to change the order of a number of files in a directory. I know I can click on each one and move it up, but how do I move a batch at a time?
