Subject: Re: suggestion for flash renamer
Date: Wed, 17 Oct 2007 18:49:58 +0200Hi,
There is already a date column available. You can turn it on from the settings window. "Date picture taken" sounds like an Exif date. In the future I plan to implement such a column too. Right now you can use the format tags to extract the Exif date from the files!

Subject: suggestion for Flash Renamer
I am scanning a lot of old foto’s without knowing the date. I am numbering the images with file names like “image001” etc. After scanning I estimate the dates and apply this to the scanned images. Then, I would like to change the filenames of the pictures in the order of the dates. So, for example, the oldest image is named “image001” and the latest “image099”. To be able to do that, it would be helpful if in the browser a field is added with the picture taken date, so that the user can sort the file list on that and then rename the files.
Regards,
Bert
