This is actually a bug... I have already fixed it, and I plan to release a new version later this week.

This is also one of the things that I have addressed in the new version!
As for the first problem you have, with the tag, it would be helpful if you could send me one of the mp3s that will not tag, as well as a screenshot of Flash Renamer just before you start tagging so I can see the setting that you are using.
