There is no way to delete the files, although it's a good feature so I think I will try to add it in future versions!
This might work in some situations: After you have renamed your files, click on the "preview" column header. The file list will now be sorted after the new names. Since you have just renamed the files, only those who were not renamed should have a preview names, and thus you can select them all and delete them.
