No, this has always been like this. If you load files, it will load in free select, if you load a single folder or "start from this folder" it will load in the browser.

As you probably know, free select can hold files from many different places, ie they do not need to be located in the same folder.
In DOpus or Explorer you can select files and load into FR. But these files does not necessarily come from the same place. For example you can do a search, and then load these files into FR. Thus the FR need to be used.
Perhaps I could do a fix though, and see if all files are from the same folder then I also load this folder into the browser. (But that would be saved for the next session, ruining your previous browser folder, which might upset someone else...)

The browser for folders will remember the last folder used. (But if this folder is no longer available it will revert to the root.) My logic here is that you often move files to the same location, so defaulting to the browser folder would not be suitable.
Solution: I will default to the browser folder if the previous folder is no long available. This seem like a good middle way.

As you probably know, free select can hold files from many different places, ie they do not need to be located in the same folder.
