The Windows file system reserves a few characters for internal use: * : < > ? / \ " and a few other
These are not allowed to use in filenames since they have special meaning to the computer. Flash Renamer automatically replaces them if you try to use them. (If you are not satisfied with the replacement, the advanced settings allows you to change what character to use instead.)
