I'd beg you to make one addition: In the presets add a running count keeper option. For example, my Texas Tech Red Raider Football files are renamed using the following counter string: rrfb_. delivering a file name such as: rrfb060816_12345.cr2. The preset changes the name and case of all files.
What would make that preset very valuable is if it kept count of the value last used. That way I don't have to go back and look to see what was the last number used.
Less important, but valuable, is renaming files with the same file name but different extensions. This occurs with programs that build "sidecar" files, usually ending in an "xmp" extension. These files are companion files to a jpg file of the same name. I need FR to recognize that two file identical file names (with different extension) should be renamed the same way.
Finally, for feedback purposes, I'm sure you know that FR crashes at about 33,000 on the counter. May seem like a high number but we take a lot of pics within a season and try to keep one tally. Using Windows XP. 1.5gb memory. Crashes regardless of the length of the file name or the length of the path name.
