Date: Thu, 5 Oct 2006 19:44:09 +0200Hi,
I will have a look at the problems you describe. The treeview is an old
leftover from previous versions, and is mainly left for nostalgic reasons.
Sometimes new features break it. It's hard to check everything all the time.
But I always fix problems eventually. Turn off the treview and the program
should work. The "listview" is much better anyway :-)
*.* is reset each time you start the program, beacuse many users get
confused otherwise. You can turn this feature off in the settings window.
At the top of the program window you will find a checkbox called "instant
preview". Uncheck this to stop the (in your words) "file-searching process".
"Always show filder icons (for easier navigation)" does not work in treview
mode.
In listview mode, if "Always show filder icons (for easier navigation)" is
unchecked but folder are included, the folders will show since they are to
be renamed. This is logical. The "Always show filder icons (for easier
navigation)" becomes active if folder are *not* included.
I hope this answers your questions. I am only a single programmer trying to
do my best with the program in my spare time.
