Subject: Flash 5.3
Date: Fri, 21 Sep 2007 19:47:59 +0200Hi,
I think you should try to clean Flash Renamer off your computer completely:
* Uninstall any current version.
* Delete this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\RL Vision\Flash Renamer
* If you have Vista this folder can be located somewhere else: Open the
folder "c:\Users" and search for "Flash Renamer" and remove any folder you
find. Also search for Flash Renamer on your system drive (c:). I believe you
will find more folders. Delete them all.
* Open RegEdit and remove this folder: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA
Program Settings\RL Vision\Flash Renamer
* Also remove any Flash Renamer folder in "c:\Program Files".
Now your system should be clean! Reboot to make sure no references are left
(important!). Download and install 5.3 and I hope it will work for you!
If your settings are still not saved, make sure that all users have full
privelidges to write to the above folder and the files within (this is where
the settings are stored).
You will need to enter your registration code again.
