I don't really trust download sites in general, because there are only a few sites that are serious. All other just collect "pad" files and throw together a sites with downloads, hoping to make money from google ads. They also give out 5-star ratings to ALL programs, hoping to get backlinks...
You are right about the vat. I should add a note about it on the homepage. (But most people I think do not see the homepage. They go directly to the purcahse page, where the vat is automatically added where needed.)
